Lisa Day is an Assistant Professor of English and the Director of Women & Gender Studies at Eastern Kentucky University, where she also serves as the campus Survivors’ Advocate. Through the dedication of her service to women, she has received certification with the Art Reach Foundation to help veterans and survivors of sexual abuse to heal through the expressive arts.
As an artist Lisa prefers acrylic painting as her artistic medium, and she lives in Richmond, Kentucky, with Scout, an Australian Shepherd. |
